The Flyer 33 does not go unnoticed. Her head-turning Dykstra design ensures that. She is a sleek daysailer with a modern plumb bow, classic stern and a graceful, low freeboard combined with a generous sail plan. All this defines a new modern classic.
Below deck, the interior of the Flyer 33 is timeless with the choice for teak of bamboo panelling, all finished to the highest standard.
The development of the Flyer 33 began in 2009 in the mind of a former world sailing champion, Rutger Mohr. Through his more than 40 years of experience and passion for sailing, he knew exactly which requirements the ideal sailing yacht had to fulfil. It had to be a combination of sheer beauty, superb sailing performance and yet plenty of comfort for a relaxing weekend on the water with family and friends. As this combination proved impossible to find, the idea for the Flyer33 was born.
The exterior and interior design of the Flyer33 is done by Dykstra Naval Architects and the yacht is build by Menken Maritiem.
